Barrie joined Weightmans' Casualty team in 2026 as a Legal Director in the Manchester office.
Barrie has over 20 years experience acting for self-insured and insurance clients in relation to EL and PL claims, with a particular specialism in high value personal injury claims, including work-related stress and occupational disease claims. He has experience advising and representing clients across a variety of sectors with particular experience in manufacturing, transport and logistics, retail and construction
Barrie also has experience of representing clients in regulatory prosecutions and providing risk management advice and training to clients.
