Donna joined Weightmans’ Regulatory team in the Leicester office in August 2025 and specialises in health & safety law  regulatory compliance and environmental law.

Prior to joining Weightmans, Donna represented and advised a broad spectrum of clients (including household names) across a wide range of industry sectors. Donna’s practise includes advising clients who are facing regulatory compliance issues or who may be under investigation or subject to prosecution or other enforcement action by enforcing authorities such as the HSE, CQC, Environment Agency, Local Authorities and the Police. 


Since joining Weightmans Donna has worked closely with Elliott Kenton (Partner) who leads Weightmans’ internal investigations practice. Donna assists large corporates who have discovered or suspect wrongdoing in their business by conducting large and complex legally privileged internal investigations in order to advise the company on potential regulatory and criminal risk posed to the corporate entity by that wrongdoing. 


Donna also has experience in carrying out specialist health and safety due diligence in relation to mergers and acquisitions previously advising three leading motor dealership groups on the regulatory and health & safety implications of a highly complex multi business acquisition of 19 separate dealerships.
