Konrad is an Associate in our disputes team based in our Manchester office and is also the Head of our Eastern European International Desk.
The Eastern European International Desk focuses on supporting individuals, businesses and insurance companies located in Eastern Europe who have legal, commercial or personal interests in the UK and UK based entities seeking legal advice from one of our trusted partners in Eastern Europe.
Konrad deals with a wide range of high value and complex corporate and commercial disputes. He advises individuals and businesses on contractual claims (which often include an international element), corporate and shareholder disputes (including unfair prejudice petitions and breach of directors’ duties), partnership disputes, professional negligence, enforcement of UK judgments abroad and defamation.
Konrad also has extensive experience of dealing with multi-jurisdictional disputes, International Arbitrations, contentious insolvency matters, a variety of interlocutory applications, obtaining interim remedies and large disclosure exercises.
Konrad has extensive experience of proceedings in the various divisions of the High Court, including the King’s Bench Division, Chancery Division and Business and Property Courts. He is routinely instructed to seek injunctive relief (acting for both applicant and respondent) and has successfully helped to secure interlocutory freezing and proprietary orders.
