Theresa Carling is a partner in the employment team and has specialised in this area since qualification in 2006. Highly experienced in all aspects of employment law, she is a strong litigator and formidable opponent in tribunal cases, bringing this background to inform a pragmatic and commercial approach to advice which clients appreciate. Her extensive experience in this area means that she can offer strategic and practical advice to clients, particularly those in the owner-managed sector where is recognised as a trusted adviser for many long-term clients across all sectors particularly including manufacturing, construction and technology.

Her experience includes complex and multi-party employment claims with criminal or civil litigation features, collective redundancy, changing terms and TUPE consultation processes, and she particularly specialises in senior exits and disputes, and cases involving discrimination.
