Tina Chander is an established leader in employment law with 17 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) and dual qualifications as both a barrister and a solicitor. Known for her strategic, commercially grounded approach, she has built a distinguished career advising employers and employees on the full spectrum of employment law issues.
As Partner and Head of Employment at her previous role, Tina also held the role of Business Practice Lead, managing multiple legal teams and supporting cross-disciplinary commercial and corporate matters where employment law considerations played a critical role.
She has acted for a wide range of clients — from SMEs to major national and international companies — on complex, high-value and business-critical matters including discrimination claims, unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, equal pay, redundancy and restructure processes, senior exits, and strategic TUPE/business transfer transactions. Tina has also chaired cross-border grievance and disciplinary investigations, and is experienced in providing advocacy before the employment tribunal.
Tina’s standout contribution to public legal awareness was recognised in 2023, when she won the inaugural “Influencer of the Year” award from Warwickshire Law Society for her impactful “End Workplace Bullying” campaign, which resonated widely with both employers and employees seeking cultural change in the workplace.
Her reputation is further reinforced through her recognition in both Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners, reflecting strong market and client endorsement of her expertise.
In addition to her legal practice, Tina regularly delivers training programmes for HR teams, directors, and business owners across the UK, and frequently speaks at external events on emerging employment law issues.
