Wayne is a Principal Associate based in Nottingham within the Health Care Team, specialising in defending clinical negligence claims on behalf of NHS Resolution and a number of NHS Trusts.

Wayne qualified as a Legal Executive in 2007 and then a Solicitor in 2011. Wayne worked as a claimant personal injury lawyer for about 18 years, prior to making the move to defendant clinical negligence in 2021.

Wayne's defendant clinical negligence experience includes pre-action and litigated cases, across a breadth of areas, including complex and high value fatal claims, delays in diagnosis and surgery, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopaedic, wrongful birth and adult neurological claims, including spinal, stroke and cauda equina syndrome.

Wayne has regularly engaged in ADR (mediation and joint settlement meetings) and has routinely attended interlocutory hearings and trials.

Wayne prides himself on having a good manner with clients and taking a pragmatic and commercial approach to managing claims.
